Veterinary Student Externship
Hands-On Learning in a Supportive Setting
Our externship program is designed for veterinary students who want real-world experience in a fast-paced general practice environment. You will be encouraged to learn by doing and supported every step of the way by a collaborative and experienced team.
What You Will Experience:
- General practice with a strong focus on patient care and client communication
- Opportunities to observe, assist, and potentially perform surgery based on your comfort level
- Hands-on involvement in appointments, diagnostics, and case management
- Mentorship tailored to your skill level and goals
What We Are Looking For:
- Current veterinary student in good academic standing
- Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- Comfort working in a small animal practice (dogs and cats)
